- Funds for this program are from The County of Hawaiʻi Food Security & Agricultural Initiatives Program, part of U.S. Department of the Treasury State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Program (SLFRF) authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

- "Technical Assistance" just means business support services, including free consulting, marketing, financial planning, help with permitting and compliance, food safety, and even free HACCP plans for eligible food businesses.
Free Workshops
- Monthly workshops on rotating topics designed for food businesses, held in-person in Hilo with optional Zoom attendance.
